Interior Language helps you find an interior style and generate a visualisation of a room. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are. We are the data controller: Anastasia Baskakova, an individual based in Italy. Questions: hello.interiorlanguage@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Your style choices — the style, mood, room and materials you pick. Used only to build the image prompt.
• Room photos you upload (optional) — only if you choose “Use my actual room”.
• Basic technical data — IP address and browser type, logged by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

We do not ask for your name, address or payment card details on this site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How your photo is used

If you upload a photo, it is resized in your browser and sent to our server, which forwards it to our image-generation provider (Replicate, which runs the model on our behalf) purely to produce your visualisation. We do not store your photo on our own servers, and we do not use it to train any model. The provider processes it to return the image and retains it only per their own policy. Do not upload photos containing people, documents or anything you would not want processed by a third party.

Who we share data with

• Replicate, Inc. — image generation (receives your prompt and, if provided, your photo).
• Netlify — hosting and delivery.

These providers may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Your style choices live in your browser for the length of your session and are not stored by us afterwards. Uploaded photos are not retained on our servers. Hosting logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). To exercise any of these, email hello.interiorlanguage@gmail.com.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
